Seattle–Bremerton Ferry

The Seattle-Bremerton ferry is a ferry route across Puget Sound between Seattle and Bremerton, Washington. Since 1951 the only ferries employed on the route have belonged to the Washington state ferry system, currently the largest ferry system in the United States.
==History==
(詳細はInland Flyer. The sternwheeler ''Bailey Gatzert'', once considered one of the most prestigious vessels to operate on Puget Sound and the Columbia River, was converted to an automobile ferry and as such became the first ferry to run on the Seattle-Bremerton route.〔Newell, Gordon, R., ed., ''H.W. McCurdy Marine History of the Pacific Northwest'', at 291, Superior Publishing, Seattle, WA 1966〕 Another vessel to run on the route was the unique “streamlined” ferry ''Kalakala''.
